The SmartSense SmartHub plugs directly into your internet router and connects your CAVIUS Wireless Family devices to the CAVIUS App. This allows you to receive alerts to your smartphone or tablet when your smoke or heat alarm is activating, it will also provide the details of which alarm is activating. You can also test your alarms, complete regular fire drills, receive low battery status and connect with third party apps, on their phone anyway (with internet). In addition, you can have multiple accounts for different properties – like monitoring the smoke alarms of your elderly family, holiday home or your rental property. - ALARM IDENTIFICATION: Allocate a unique name to each alarm i.e. ‘Jacks Bedroom’.
- ACTIVATED ALARM NOTIFICATION: Receive a notification, via the app, when an alarm has been activated. The app will indicate which alarm has been activated.
- LOW BATTERY ALERT: Receive a notification, via the app, when an alarm’s battery is low and requires replacing.
- CONNECTION NOTIFICATION: The alarms will send a ‘pulse’ every 24 hours to indicate they are connected to the SmartHub. If the SmartHub does not receive the pulse signal or there is an outage with the internet connection – the app will send a notification to the user.
- INTERCONNECTION TEST: Run an interconnection test to check all alarms are in range and connected to each other.
- FIRE DRILL TEST: Run a Fire Drill within the system, this will activate all the alarms and replicate the alarms response to a real fire event.
- UNLIMITED USERS: Add unlimited users onto one system. There are two levels of users; Administration (full access to the system) User (will only receive notifications via the app)
- THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS: Works with Google Assistant and ability to intergrade with IFTTT.
